In the following, we would like to provide you with some information about data protection on our website. We have taken organizational and technical measures to comply at all times with the relevant legal provisions in force at that time. These include in particular the General Data Protection Regulation, the German Telemedia Act and the Federal Data Protection Act (new).
In line with the principles of data minimization, it is our goal to process as little personal data on our website as possible.
Personal data are data by which a specific natural person can be identified or data with the aid of which or based on which this can be done. These personal data also include – as a so-called online identification – the IP address of the device from which our web pages are accessed.
We do not collect or ask for any data that directly indicate your identity. However, it is in our interest to provide you with a reliable offer that will meet your information needs. For this, it may in some cases be necessary to process the IP address of the device used to access our website.
The processed data will exclusively be used to ensure the proper technical operation of our web server.
Log files
In connection with the use of our Internet offer, server operation logs that may enable the identification of a person are stored on our server (so-called access and error logs). These data files include data such as the IP address of the device from which the web page was accessed (or of the proxy server, in case our pages were accessed via a proxy server), the page from which the data file was requested, log, name of the requested data file, status code, date, time and duration of the request, data volume transmitted, the browser used, access status (e.g. data file not found), referrer.
The IP addresses are stored anonymized. For this, the last digits of the address are removed, i.e. 127.0.0.1 becomes 127.0.0.*. IPv6 addresses are likewise anonymized.
The stored data are exclusively evaluated for technical purposes such as in case of misuse, malfunctioning or for performance optimization and are by no means forwarded to third parties. The data will not be used in a personalized form.
The stored log files will be deleted after nine weeks.
E-mails
E-mails sent to e-mail addresses of Schaumburg und Partner (*@schaumburg.partners) by business partners or potential business partners as well as e-mails sent by Schaumburg und Partner to business partners are processed on the servers of our e-mail hosting provider. Along with all transmitted data, the e-mails are stored on these servers for the purpose of doing business at least for the duration of the business relationship.
In accordance with our legitimate interests or legal requirements that may result from the content of an e-mail (see e.g. the principles for the proper management and storage of books, records and documents in electronic form as well as data access, or tax regulations), e-mails may also be archived for a longer period of time or permanently.
Unless consent is given by the respective person, e-mail addresses will not be used for other purposes.
To protect our business interests and to be able to comply with any information and documentation obligations required by law, we reserve the right to answer incoming e-mails and to send unsolicited e-mails.
For ensuring an efficient operational organization, e-mail addresses may be stored by an address and contact management software as well as in mail applications of our employees.
E-mail addresses will not be forwarded to third parties.
An order processing contract has been signed with the e-mail hosting provider.
