Karl-Heinz Schaumburg obtained his degree in electrical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in 1962. After working as a patent engineer at Siemens AG for several years, he was admitted to the patent bar in 1970 and founded today’s law firm Schaumburg & Partner in Munich. He served national and international clients in particular in the fields of telecommunications, data processing technology, optoelectronics and electromechanical engineering. Karl-Heinz Schaumburg established our law firm as one of the renowned firms for intellectual property rights.

Since July 2000, he performs an advisory function for our firm.
